AGIS is a general purpose geo-processing system targeting Precision Ag.  It enables information generation from standard 'agricultural data types' including yield, terrain and geo-chemical observations.  It contains a wide range of analytical tools that support decisions on what to do with field variability.  

AGIS is primarily a tool for service providers - people generating information products and analyses.
